Richard Ray Ashford (1948-2010)
Richard was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. Following high school he entered US Armed Forces and served in Veitnam.
He was honorably discharged in 1971. In 1986 Richard and his wife, Fonda, moved from Blanchard to Blackwall, Oklahoma where
he managed the Blackwell Sale Barn.

Gerald Wayne Bottoms (1947-2007)
Gerald was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. He was a civil servant for over thirty years working at
Tinker Air Force Base where he was an Aircraft Elecronic Special Logistics Manager.

Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. He was a dairy farmer in the Blanchard area.

Bruce was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. Bruce was an artist.

While Bruce was in his senior year at Blanchard he had twin cousins that were in the 8th grade at Blachard. They were
Gary and Larry Crosby. Bruce's mother and their mother were sisters. They left Blanchard after the 8th grade and moved to
Minco. They were football stars at Minco and the archives of The Daily Oklahoman are replete with articles about the their
football days.

Otha Douglas Gibson (1946-1968)
Douglas was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School.
On May 14, 1967 Douglas was inducted into the US Army and On Jul 26, 1967 he marred his high school sweetheart,
JoAnn Knox. JoAnn was also a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High.
Douglas arrived in Viet Nam on November 4, 1967 and on June 25, 1968, Douglas made the ultimate sacrifice for his
country.
The 1968 Blanchard Lion Yearbook was dedicated to Douglas.

Larry Leon Hager (1948-2013)
Larry was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. In addition to being in the Concrete Construction Bussiness, he
retired from the US Postal Service.

Nolan Douglas Martin (1945-2008)
Nolan was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. After school, he worked in the oilfield industry, was a
construction superintendent and a farmer.

Wilta Martin Gibson was Nolan's sister and Douglas Gibson's mother. Therefore Nolan was Douglas Gibson's uncle.

Richard was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School.
Richard's parents were Elmer DuWayne Noffsinger (1926-2005) () and Nickoine Ann (Bailiff) Noffsinger (1927-2008).
Lowell Gene Williams (1948-2000)
Lowell was a 1966 graduate of Blanchard High School. After school he was inducted into the US Army and served in
Viet Nam.
Lowell married Patricia Ann Kimbrough (1954-2017) () on July 9, 1971. They spent most of their years living in Blanchard. Lowell became pastor
of Bethal Free Holiness Church in 1998 and they moved to Colcord, OK.
Lowell's parents were Maxwell Gene "Max" Williams (1929-1990) () and Florence Jane (Creswell) Williams (1930-1994) ().
Kenny Joseph Wood (1947-1967)
Kenny attended Blanchard Public School, but his last year was 1963, his freshman year. Had he remained in school he would have
graduated with the class of 1966.
Sadly, Kenny was killed in an auto accident in June of 1967.
Kenny's parents were George Martin Wood (1888-1977) () and Artie Maybelle (Kenner) Wood (1905-2001) ().
One of Kenny's brothers was H.M. "Tommy" Wood ().
Tommy attended Blanchard Public Schools, but his last year was 1960, his freshman year. Had he remained in school he would have
graduated with the class of 1963.
